Pete Duncan Macoupin County Clerk

As the Election Authority for Macoupin County, I believe strongly that every voter should have all the information necessary to exercise his or her right to vote. I am proud to offer these resources on our Election’s Office website. Here you can find out information such as how to register to vote, where your polling place is located, or how you can vote early or on Election Day.

We’ve included a variety of frequently asked questions to try and help ensure every voter’s voice is heard. We also have created a variety of how-to’ guides for features of the website for you to use.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to call my office at (217) 854-3214Call: (217) 854-3214 icon or email me at pete.duncan@macoupincountyil.gov. And remember, every vote counts.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, all 2020 General Election voters are encouraged to cast a ballot prior to Election Day, either by mail or during early voting. Voting by mail is an easy, secure, and free option for voters and you can request a vote by mail ballot through email, mail, or in person. We’ve launched the ‘Vote at Home: Mail it In’ initiative for Macoupin County. Visit this page which will let voters apply for their mail ballot, see a step by step guide on how to vote by mail, frequently asked questions, important dates and more for all voters in Macoupin County.
